This thread is a very good example of where "ignore subthread" or
"ignore thread branch" is useful. You could simply apply Ignore
Subthread to Marty's second reply to you since it contained nothing
about your subject. The ignore subthread/branch function is very
useful especially when you are asking for help and you don't want to
get mixed up in off-topic stuff. But unless you can get weaned off
of Google Groups, forget it. That is available only to those of us
who use a real newsreader and news server.

Yes they have, they are penny pinching. Usenet cannot cost them _that_
much to support. If they had a problem with Usenet traffic volume, then
cut binary groups! Anyway, it can't have been a volume issue as their
AUP says up to 250Gb/month is acceptable in the eyes of Comcast.

porn that that binary groups are carrying.
