3d -line chart options

Is there any way to change the format of the lines drawn in the 3D line
chart? I would like to plot multiple series of data using a line chart, and
I like the 3D view, where each series is plotted at a different Z-depth.
However, I don't like the ribbon-cable lines that get drawn. I would rather
have a simple 1-D line instead, but I can't find any way to change this.

Chris -

You can't change that ribbon into a line, but you can make it narrower.
Double click on it, select the Options tab, and choose a larger gap
width than the default 150. Excel allows a number up to 500.
