I have Windows XP Pro. How do I determine whether I have
Windows XP 64-Bit Edition or the 32-Bit Edition?

Did you pay rediculously high prices for your hardware? (Not talking
"hundreds" of dollars here.)

Did you pay incredibly high prices for your copy of XP? (not $200-$300, much
higher.)

Essentially, "If you have to ask, you DIDN'T get a 64-bit version."

Well, you have a 32-bit version of Windows XP. The 64-bit version
is only available if you are running a high-dollar Itanium processor.

You have the 32-bit edition. Anyone who has the 64-bit version
knows it by the two large dents in his wallet--one for 64-bit
Windows, the other, even larger dent, for the special hardware
needed to run it.
