32 bit or 64 bit

How can I determine if i should download the 32 bit or 64
bit of the security patch for blaster worm?
 
If you are running this computer at home, you are
probably running 32-bit. I would recommend downloading
that first.

Use the built-in windows update feature accessed from
Start --> Help and Support, etc. This will find all
patches relavent to your computer. It determines which
operating system you have. It also checks your hardware
and occassional offers driver updates or other hardware-
specific patches.

As to your original question: If you have a Pentium
processor, it is definitely 32 bits. 64-bit processors
(e.f., Intel Itanium) and motherboards are rather
expensive and found only on high-end servers.
