3 Small Problems

Guest

I am running XP Pro (SP2) with OE6 and IE7 Beta 3.

1. The first problem is the Clipboard. For months at a time I can use
Start/R and enter Clipbrd to see or delete the contents. Then for some
reason it is no longer available and the system tells me to check my
spelling. Then some time later it will work again. Has not been a problem
until now. Clipbrd does not work at this time.

2. Enter second problem. Pressing the Shift Key works the same as
pressing CTL/V. The contents of the Clipboard are entered wherever the
cursor is located. Example: when I sign-in to this Forum the contents
of the clipboard are put into my e-mail address the first time I press the
Shift Key to enter a capital letter. This aggravates the first problem a bit.

3. When I open a new page it goes to the bottom not the top. Example:
I open My Documents and select a folder of letters then a document to edit.
The document will open but you can't see it because it's under the folders
page.

Anyone have a solution to any of these problems?

The answer to your first problem is a one that fixed this for me where
deleting clipboard data was concerned as well as other crap too.

( THIS IS NOT AN ADVERT)

I installed a program called ccleaner which infact stands for CrapCleaner and
it erases many things that you wish it too including recycle bin/temp internet
files/data on clipboard/cookies etc etc. This program is free and is spyware
and adware free too. You can select what items you wish for the program to
erase and those you do.

" Over 25 million downloads!!!
CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused
files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up
valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such
as your Internet history. But the best part is that it's fast (normally taking
less that a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware! :)
"

No i dont work for ccleaner nor do i get any profit etc in others using this
program . I own a well known xp help grooup oin the net and it has 1,000
members world wide and i can tell you the majority of people use this program
and are very happy with it.

To find out more about this program go to http://www.ccleaner.com/

Thank You Roberto,
I thought you were joking but you are correct! Sorry I am late with my
thanks but I have a helluva time getting past Sign-In. I am waiting for a
new keyoard for my HP Notebook and will probably wait for quite awhile as I
live in the Philippines but not in Manila.

Thanks Again,
Robert
