3 monitors, 3 PPT viewers, 1 computer?

Hello everyone. I've been asked to set up a few displays that would
run PowerPoint presentations, but I'm not sure exactly how to
accomplish the task. Hopefully someone here could give me some advice.

Here is the setup: Each "display" would have 3 LCD or plasma
monitors, each running a different PowerPoint presentation using
PowerPoint Viewer. I would like to control each "display" with
only one computer.

I am not too familiar with running multiple monitors with one computer.
I know it can be accomplished, but I'm not entirely sure how. I
know that I should have 3 outputs via one or more video cards. I
should then be able to display 3 different desktops via Windows XP. Am
I correct about this?

Another main question is can I have multiple instances of PowerPoint
Viewer running on the same machine? One PowerPoint Viewer would have
to be running for each monitor to show its own presentation.

Am I on the right track here?

Thanks for the help. I really do appreciate it!

Hi everyone,

I don't know if it's still relevant but I've found a new product called
Monitors AnyWhere which will allow you to connect up to 20 screens
to a single PC and run different sildeshows from a single PC.

The screens can be located anywhere in your establishment because
it's using the technology called VGA over LAN.
