3 dimensional file manager - FileMatrix - any good?

Does anyone know if Filematrix is any good?
It says it's a 3 dimensional file manager.

"have several directories displayed side by side, either to see their
contents simultaneously or to speed up copy / move operations among
them."

Seems to be freeware with a reminder box. Probably like Total
Commander.

Very little posted about it.

The website suggests it is more like nagware:

"The unregistered version of FileMatrix may be installed and used
on as many computers as desired, for both personal and business

Holy mackerel. It looks like the author's ambitions ran off his good
sense. The file windows are just peepholes in the UI.
