3-D Pyramid - Creating a

Can anyone explain to me how to create a 3-D Pyramid (or better yet a link to
one I can copy). One caveat, I have to be able to rotate it freely on all
axises. It is just driving me crazy that I can't find the answer anywhere -
other than buying more software. Surely this can be easily done in
PowerPoint - can't it?

Which version of PowerPoint do you use? The 3D-effects of PowerPoint 2007
will allow you to draw pyramids. Or you could use a one-column-pyramid
chart. Or construct one using trapezoids or triangles.

Do you want to rotate it with animation? That can't be done in any version
of PowerPoint.

Ute

Thank you for replying. I am using version 2003. What do you mean by 3-D
effects is that the same as 3-D style? Using this I can make a 3-D triangle
not a pyramid - but then I still can't rotate it on all accesses.

And yes I do want to rotate it with animation but they give you only limited
choices of rotation.

Can you help further? I would be grateful.

No, in PowerPoint 2007 more 3D-effects are available. You can't do that in
2003. And you can only rotate around the z-axis (not more in 2007).

You will need to use a 3D-rendering program or create an animated GIF or a
video, if you want to have a "real" pyramid to rotate in all directions.

i thinks it's simle if you use only a line-shape and a freehandshape and a basic school book - how to create it.

Jesus, why do you idiots respond to a 2 year old post. Doesn't anyone ever
look at the posting date on "dead" head café to see when a post was made?
The last three idiots posted to a 2, a 3 year and a 7 month old posts like
the OP is even going to be looking for an answer after all that time.

Because someone else might be looking for the answer and that answer
may have changed.
