I have a HP Media Centre PC (m7750n) and am trying to burn a 2 hour TV show I
recorded thru Media Centre onto a 8x 2 hour DVD-R.
It asks if I want to reduce image quality to fit on the DVD...which I reply
"YES", but then it comes back to say that the file is too big for the DVD.

Is there anyway around this?

yes, use ConvertX2DVD. works great

Download windows media encoder 9 series,in the encoder, select "convert
audio/video" locate the saved tv file, convert, once its thru, reburn to dvd....
