2GB Memory

Hi,

I have a laptop with 1GB currently of RAM. I am using XP pro SP2

I am considering adding an additional 1GB of RAM to system. I use some
processor intensive apps, Photoshop and Beyond TV.

Am I wasting my money adding the additional 1GB?

You say you use processor-intensive apps, but are they also RAM-intensive? Have
you run the Task Manager during a session to see how much physical RAM you are
using, and how much is swapped to VM?
