256-bit WEP Encryption

My wireless network has 256-bit encryption capabilities.
Is there a way to enable Windows 2000 or Windows XP to
handle this increased security level? Right now it looks
like 2000 and XP can only handle 128-bit max encryption.
 
That should be configurable in the client software that comes with your wireless nic.
I use it on both those operating systems with my D-link wireless network. --- Steve
 
Check with the company that makes the wireless equipment. if you also have
drivers for a wireless nic it may be in the driver config. Windows XP as
you stated only supports up to 128bit
