2007 Folder List ?

I constantly move attachments to a desktop folder and conversely attach files
from a desktop folder. I want a shortcut to a desktop folder to appear in
Outlook - somewhere in the folder list so that I do not have to go to the
desktop each time to access the files.

I'm sure I am missing something simple, I just don't know what. Thanks

It's not possible, other than adding a folder shortcut to the shortcut
navigation pane - but you can't drag items to it.

I put a folder shortcut on the Quick Launch toolbar and drag messages to it.
Or, if the folder is open in windows explorer, you can just drag the outlook
items to the button on the task bar. I think these methods are easier than
the shortcut pane.

So only .pst folders can appear? there is no way to shoe other directories?
