2007 calendar forms don't appear

Dave

If I try to open or start an appointment in the calendar, I get a message the
form required to view this message cannot be displayed, contact your
administrator. This is my home setup, so I am the admin, and We haven't used
this feature yet. I went to forms and clicked on calendar/appointments and
get a simular message not allowing me to design or assign a form. Any ideas

try help, office diagnostics then reboot.

do you have the live map addin installed?

I did run diagnostic, and just now reboot, no help. Also I haven't instaled
addins. I did have to bring over my data from hotmail. but calendar never
transfered as well. I also clicked on adding holidays and they won't even post

you need the outlook connector for the hotmail calendar (and a paid hotmail
acct).

I had the same error for a few days on just one system and I'm not sure of
the cause or exactly what fixed it. I used office diagnostics and rebooted.
The affected system has live maps and the outlook connector and I figured
the live map addin was causing it, since it changes the calendar form.

Make sure you have all the latest Office updates.

I checked add/remove and found "live maps" in there. I didn't know that
before. Thank you for your help. That took care of it. I would have never
figured that one out

I have this same problem after updating from an earlier version of Outlook.
I do not have "live maps".
