2007 autofit text to shape

Is there any way of making the default (possibly in a Group policy) so that
when you create a shape, then type text in the shape, the shape does not
automatically resize to fit text. I know you can change it (R mouse, Format,
Text etc) but it is the most irritating thing out (and I'm sure it was off in
the old version!). I've tried setting this in PowerPoint options but it
doesn't seem to make any difference. Help please!

Hi Steve - many thanks and yes this worked a treat. Hadn't spotted the Save
as Default option - so also changed the text size and font details and they
also saved as the default. Now added this to our template.
