2003 Enterprise RDC

I have just installed windows 2003 enterprise edition and
have a problem connecting to the box via remote desktop
connection. It is enabled under the remote tab in the
properties of My Computer. I have allowed my firewall to
accept incoming/outgoing on 3389. When I try to connect
the window will come up just like normal, I type my
password, it logs me in but then logs me right back out.
Not sure whats up. I'm also having problems doing windows
updates.

What RDC version are you using? Get the latest. Check also that in Users and
Computers that the user name you are using is allowed to run terminal server
sessions, it is on by default but check. Also on the Terminal server check
to see if a specific program is set to run once connected.
