2000 server backup problem

Hi their I have got a problem with my backup server for some reason in the
reports its saying that it cant find this path Skipped files in
"NT\NTBackup\data\mdaemon.bks" folder. Folder not found. But I have checked
the location of were the bks is and its in the right location. All that is in
the text file is the letter Q:\ which the network path that its backing up
from now I have tried to copy the bks files (theirs more than 1 ) to the root
of the hard drive c:\backupscripts\ and it still couldn’t find the path now.
I’m not backuping to a device just to the hard drive (bad practice I know but
people above don’t like spending ) the user account is a domain account has
the permissions to perform the task at hand in side the scheclade task in
the properties this is what it says

C:\WINNT\system32\NTBACKUP.EXE backup "@C:\Documents and
Settings\administrator.MEDIANET\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Windows NT\NTBackup\data\all_dev_servers_at_once.bks" /n "All
Dev Servers Monday Incr" /d "All Dev Servers Monday Incr" /v:no /r:no /rs:no
/hc:blush:ff /m incremental /j "All Dev Servers Monday Incr" /l:s /f
"R:\all_dev_servers_incrementals.bkf"

The back up server was ok before we change 2 removable hard drives which was
in it. But I don’t see how it would effect being as the file its trying to
look for is on the c:\ and all the text files the .bks one all have the
correct path to were it should be backing up from and were its going to place
the file (the backup file ) is their any one that could help me to try and
sort this
?
Thanks

The message you report does not say that the process
has a problem finding your .bks file. It says that it cannot
find some folders that you specified inside this .bks folder.
You must have a look at it and bring it up-to-date with
your current drive & folder structure.

well all the file paths are the same ?? in the bks file it just has a drive
letter which is Q:\ so im assuming that it would just backup the whole of Q:\

You must first test the job in the foreground so that you can
see exactly what happens. When it works then you can use
the Task Scheduler to run it in the background.

This type of problem usually happens because the account
used by the Task Scheduler has no access rights to the
networked resource (drive Q: in your case).

Remember that mapped drives won't natively exist when no one is logged on so
better to use UNC paths.
