2000 Active directory - XP users joining domain

here is my situation:

I have 2 servers one as the pdc & the other as the bdc, there are 25 pc's that were not joined to a domain they were broken down in to small workgroups. these PCs are all running XP pro and the users do not want to lose there settings/info on those pc's. how do i get all the settings for these 25 pc's into active directory?

PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS POSSIBLE
