Ok Here goes, I've seen other post that are similar, but can’t seem to get
the right answer. I have two XP Pro computers that connect through SBC DSL
and then through a router. Both computers have access to the internet, but
for the life of me I can't share files or printers. I have gone through the
wizard, several times, and correctly and I see on each computer is its own
computer. Can’t share files, can't share printer, but have internet access.
Wizard Sucks and maybe even XP. Please help.

The sucky part about this is a year and a half ago both computers were
network, when we moved and hooked everything back up, nothing. Well we've
moved to an actual office now and have to get connected. Again Please Help.

OK, Sharing is on, but I think I found out something. I can ping the "host
computer" to "computer 2"; 4 sent 4 received. When I ping from "computer 2"
to the "host" I get request times out.
Host IP is 192.168.102.100
Computer is 192.168.1.102

IP address dont match up.

I would check the firewall first.

I figured it out! In case anyone else has this problem I will explain. I am
using Vonage VOiP in conjunction with the router. The host computer is going
through the VOiP box and after investigating, it looks like the VOiP box is
assigning the host computer an IP address. So in a since they aren't on the
same gateway and therefore will never be able to communicate in it current
form. The work around is logging into the Vonage box and assigning a static
IP address to that box. So, I hope this works. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for the update.
