2 virtual IP address can't run with Load Balancing

D

Dennis

I have installed a new win2000 adv server with sp4 and
enabled the NLB feature with multicast support mode. but
the virtual IP is not working on any services(such as web
or ftp service).

my config is like that on 1 NIC.
cluster IP address 10.1.1.254/24
dedicated ip address is 10.1.1.1/24
one additional virtual ip is 10.1.1.10/24

How can I use this virtual IP address for our service?
or can I bind more than 1 IP address in the LoadBalancing
service?

Thanks and Regards,
Dennis.

Just to be clear, NLB load balances traffic between multiple hosts not
multiple NICs or IP address.
If you have two hosts you can load balance traffic to one or more virtual IP
addresses. See 232000 How to Configure WLBS with Multiple Virtual IP
Addresses
