My MSI 865PE-Neo-2 motherboard has a Pentium-4, 3.0 GHZ processor in it.

My "Control Panel" -> "System"-> "Device mgr" -> "Hardware" says I have two
of these Pentiums installed.

Since the mobo has one socket, I know this is BS.

If it were two cd roms or two floppy drives, I'd simply delete one and
reboot.

Can I do this with a CPU without feeling pain?

Do I delete the first or the second in the list?

Maybe it doesn't matter but I don't like it.

Thanks in advance,

Chopah
