2 Partitions on HDD - want to combine the amd have 1 Big partition

This is a 2nd HDD I have, it's "E" and "F" ("C" and "D" are my main HDD - C
has the Vista OS On it.)

This HDD is already NTFS and had a buncha music and video files on it for
partition 2 (200gb) and partition 1 was the OS (100 gb)

Now I upgraded PC and have OS on another HDD totally.

This one was put back in, and I formatted the "E" partition in Vista, by
right clicking drive and clicking "format"

Now I want to comine it with the 2nd partition on the HDD - which is "F"

ERssentially making "F" and "E" together and just have an "E" in the end
that's 300gb'

How can I do this without buying some fancy smancy software to do it for me??

I haven't done this myself, but try shrinking the F partition down to it's
smallest size, then expand the E partition to occupy that free space.
