Three folders are shared on XP Pro local network with a 98SE laptop.
Only one opens. The other two give message: that they are not accessible
Access is denied.
The two problem folders were shared after install of SP2
Permissions seem to be the same on all three

By default, XP Pro blocks networked access to these folders: Program
Files, Windows, and individual users' folders within Documents and
Settings. If you want to access those folders, disable simple file
sharing.

With simple file sharing disabled, each shared folder can have access
permissions specified. Make sure that the access permissions are
right. Usually, that means giving permission to the "Everyone" group.
Ron Lowe and I have written a web site with details:

Windows XP Professional File Sharing
http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/xp_filesharing/index.htm

If none of that applies, try un-sharing and re-sharing the
inaccessible folders.
