2 nics 2 networks

I would like to configure and XP Pro with two nics to work on two
different networks. One network is the coporate domain and the other
should be isolated from the corporate domain and can have fixed IP
addresses. I will need to run Remote desk tops on the isolated network
as they are headless. I would also like to communicate with the
isolated computers by their hostname and share directories across this
isolated network. I had one suggestion to make the isolated network a
workgroup (which I can figure how to get the 2 nic XP to join both
domain and network. Any help or suggestions?

Consult with the corporate network administrators. They can tell you
whether your proposed setup is permitted by the corporate security
policy and whether it's technically feasible.

Our net admins are fine with the isolated network. I am trying to find
out how to configure XPPro (with 2 nics) talk on both networks that
have different domain and/or workgroup names adn have all the
functionality(terminal services and file/ directory sharing on both).

Hi, Tim. A computer can be a member of a domain or a member of a
workgroup, but not both at once.

I have no experience with domains, so I can't say how to do what you
want. Can't your network admins help?

Thanks again for you response.
Our Admin is slow to respond on this and didn't have an immediate
answer. If I get an answer I'll post it to this group. Some background:
We have a product that is a built with 10 internal computers. One of
which will interface with the clients internal network. This same one
needs to also interface with the other nine internal computers. There
should be no way for the client network to get at the individual
internal computers so we are trying to isolate them. Bot for our
product integrity and the clients Network integrity.
