2 Hard Drives

I have two hard drives on my XP Pro and each hard drive has Documents and
settings and Program files. If I disconnect my secondary hard drive the
computer won't boot. What can I do in order to get a larger secondary hard
drive on my computer?

Hi Richard,

Sounds like the system is booting from the second drive. Locate boot.ini,
post back with it's location on the system. Open it in notepad, copy/paste
the contents into the reply as well.

Hi, Richard.

Please don't start multiple threads asking the same question. Go read my
response to your other post under the subject Larger secondary hard. To
respond to a message here, click Reply, NOT New - unless you are ready to
start a new thread on a different subject.

Note that Rick and I have told you basically the same thing: Post the
contents of C:\boot.ini, plus other pertinent info about your computer: how
many HDs, how are they partitioned, and where is WinXP installed.
