2 Dial RAS clients setup

Glenn

I am about to setup a w2k Server. I was having this
problem with a w2kpro, but i remember before that someone
mentioned that 2 or more dialup clients can connect to a
RAS win2k Server, as long as there are two dialup modems.
What are the things that i need to configure so that I can
enable 2 dialup clients to access my RAS win200 server and
surf the net? I also have 2 telephone lines.

Thanks in advance.

You can connect two dialup clients to the Win2k server. The server should
either have an ISDN card which has 2 or more channels or have two modems to
accept both the dialup client connections. At the client side you can have
two single link dialup client [two modems or an ISDN with two channels] or a
single double[mutli] link connection. This will give you the bandwidth of
both the modems/channels in a single link.

Note that if the dialup clients are accessing the Internet using NAT on
the same server, you will need to apply the netsh command fix from KB 310888
to get the remote clients to the Internet.
