I just started working with the GPM tool and I've noticed that I have 2
default domain controller policies dated 2 years apart that are both
enabled. Can I safely delete one or should I leave it alone since I'm not
having any errors or issues. We're running W2K SP4 Server with XPSP2
clients.

My guess is that one of them is not real but just named the same. Check the
GUID on the two GPOs. The "real" one has a GUID of
{6AC1786C-016F-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9}.
