2 computers on the internet 2003 Server - making em chat!

What I want to do is ever so simple, but I'm daunted by the reams of
documentation and terms. I'm hoping someone can explain or point me to a
step by step guide.

I have 2 web servers each 2003 Web edition with IPSEC blocking most things
off.

I'd like them to be able to view shares on each other (or one way only ,
don't care), securely.

The way forward seems to be VPN with RRAS, but I can't seem to fight my way
through the documentation and terminology. Surely, this is easy! (when you
know how).

Any help or pointers would be much appreciated (Oh- I've tried googling, but
with the usual wood for trees result).

Thanks

Iain

Much as I thought it was easier than I was finding it.

My trouble was assuming an IPSEC tunnel was required. It is not. in fact
it stops things working.

It turns out that you simply add a filter rule that specifes the two ip
addresses as endpoints, allows all traffic and has a shared secret for the
'required' security.

Then they talk.

Thanks!
