2 computer network

I am trying to create a simple 2 computer network but when i run the wizard
it does not pick up the fact that my computer is connected to broadband and
so does not complete properly

How does your computer connect to broadband? Through a modem - if so is it
USB or Ethernet connection? Through a router? The solution will depend on
how you connect to broadband.

Thanks for the reply but i was so miffed with this thing this morning I
managed to get the IT lad at work to sort it out. The problem was that my LAN
card was disconnected in the BIOS! He didn't know why that was either. all i
had in there was a 1394 card which he said was firewire. All sorted now but
