I have had to reinstall my Office and need to reset the background colours on
2 calenders. I can easily change calendar No.1 - but No. 2 will only stay as
default yucky yellow. I have done this before - but can't remember how -
anyone else remember? Thanks.

Version of Outlook?

Outlook always assigns the colors in order - but if you want to mess around,
select the two calendars, set the default calendar color to your preferred
calendar #2 color and check the box to apply it to all calendars. Go out of
the dialog so the calendar colors change, then go back in and change the
default to another color. You can repeat this for additional calendars. The
colors for the second (and additional calendars) will stick as long as they
are selected. If you remove the checkmark and recheck it, it reverts to the
next color (beginning with yellow).

You can also select other calendars till you get to a color you like
(outlook assigns the calendar colors in order) - then select the second
calendar and deselecting the others.

Either method is too much work for me though -so I just live with the yucky
yellow for calendar #2. :)

Thanks Diane - I have been working on this since I posted and your post has
crossed with my solution. I only have 2 different calendars so wasn't too
much of a problem. I selected the first one with the box ticked - chose
background colour (which would end up on No. 2) in/out again to No. 2 and
unticked box and chose another colour. Marvelous - I do remember it being a
bit of a pain - but I no longer have 'yucky yellow or 'pond green' Thanks
for yourhelp!

colours again. Anyone else any help please?
