2 administrators on my computer?

May sound crazy, but I did restore and page I have never
seen before appeared, and it indicated there was an
administrator account other than my own. I could not log
in as any and all passwords I ahd previously used did not
work.My account was listed as 2nd account, owner. It also
said that administrator account will be invisible if other
users are indicated. What is the story on this??? Is it
possible I have a 2nd uninvited party on board? I am the
sole user of computer, and as far as I know, am not part
of a domain. Any help appreciated!

are you running xp pro? xp by default your first user is an administrator.
if you create a user or change the account name it hides the first
administrator and creates a new user. in xp pro to gain access to this at
login screen hit alt+control+delete twice. type administrator as your user
name. leave password blank. if you cant get in try some of your passwords.
also in windows in your run box type
control userpasswords2
you will be able to see all users on this computer/ get more user options
hope that helps
