The program id's 180search on my system, consums 100%
system cpu and never completes or removes the 180search.

MS antispy has been reinstalled and I still have the same
problem

Hi

Have you tried to reboot in safe mode and scan ?
(press f8 during reboot)

Choose fullscan with all options checked.
