I keep getting an error message stating that a third party
has removed 180search Assistant and asking me to re-
install it. What can I do to correct this problem?

180search assistant is one of the bigger hemmorhoid spywares to contend
with, but adaware ion combination with spybot did the trick for me on a
user's machine. Good luck!

The "180 Search Assistant" is a component of n-Case.

n-Case is a form of spyware. Two products that are normally
quite effective at finding and removing such scumware are Ad-Aware
from www.lavasoft.de and SpyBot Search and Destroy from
www.safer-networking.org/. Both have free versions.

Symantec provides removal instructions:

Additional manual removal instructions for the most common
