16 bit Windows System Error

Hello all,

I've just recently downloaded a driver for my chipset, SIS 651 AGP1.17E.
When I run the setup program, an error window pops up and displays the
following:

16 bit Windows Subsystem
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the
application.
____________________________________________________________________

The only two options I get are Close and Ignore.

I cannot get similar driver updates to install either.

Please help me with this problem. Any suggestions or answers are appreciated.
