logging onto the computer I get the follwing message on
my desktop (everytime):

C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. The system files in not
suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows
applications. Chose close to terminate the application.

I do choose close. This bagan in approx July, right
after I downloaded some updates from microsoft. Can't be
sure if it is a coincidence or not. Is there a way I can
find out what program this msg. is coming from. By the
way this only appears on my desktop, not the other 3 uses
on the computer when they log in under their name.

Thanks for any help

Hi

Error message when you install or start an MS-DOS or 16-bit
Windows-based program

Could be caused a trojan or something similar, e.g.
TrojanDownloader.Win32.Dia.a, more about this here:
