16 bit only!

the computer in my room sucks, well actually...only the
resolution does. I need some serious help on how to get a
better resolution than just 16 bit...i was trying to find
out how to change it to something like 24 bit (true color)
please help...anybody

I assume you tried right clicking on an empty spot on the desktop, click
on "Properties", click on "Settings" tab and see if you can't do
anything there? If you can't do anything at all there then find out
what "Display Adapter" you have by clicking on the "Advanced" button on
the same screen then clicking on the "Adapter" tab. Note the name and
model number of the adapter then go to the manufacturer web site and
download the proper drivers for your adapter and Operating System and
install them. This should fix things or you will at least be able to
change the settings in the Properties panel. You can try to change the
drivers in the same panel, maybe Windows can find better drivers than
what is currently installed whithout having to download new ones.
