137G limit on AX6BC

Hi

I'm installing a WD 160G drive on a AOpen AX6BC Pro. Even with the latest
BIOS it has the 137G limit unfortunately. Anyone had experiences with the
Western Digital drive overlay software? The plan is to use the new drive as
the system/boot drive with WinXP (SP2) on it.

Thanks for any advice

Don't use any overlay. Only by using a Windows XP CD that has SP1 or
SP2 integrated into it (either by slipstreaming the original or buying
it that way) will the Windows setup program recognize more than
131,000 megabytes of a disk drive larger than 137GB.
In other words, don't worry about the BIOS. Get yourself an XP CD that
incorporates SP2. Boot from the CD, partition and format the drive,
and finish the installation.
