Sorry about the OT but not really sure where this should have been
posted. Please feel free to redirect me if you know.

Anyone know of an online source for 120mm fans that are powered by
120volt ac?

I see dozens even hundreds of outlets with regular 120mm computer fans
but these plug into a computer power supply and run 12 volt in most
cases.

Barring that and probably even a better solution if anyone knows how
or what hardware is necessary to run several of the low voltage
computer fans with my own small power adapter. What size adapter
etc. Something that can duplicate the required power in and run
several in on one line...

These are industrial fans that were once known by the name
of "muffin" fans. They are wired into 120-Volt AC lines. But
for computer use, not really worth it since the 12-Volt DC
120-mm fans do the job quite well. It is the fan rotation
speed, number of blades and blade angle that determines the
amount of air moved through the fan that are the important
factors.

Try Radio Shack.

Hello

Go to any supplier of electrical material that supplies professional Electricians who work with machine controls on big industrial sites.Your local hardware or Radio Shack will not have them. Or ask any Electrician where thy get theirs from when they need them.
