120g as slave, 40g as master?

John

I have a maxtor 40g 7200 2mb cache as primary master and am replacing a
primary slave maxtor 30g 7200 2mb cache with a Western Digital 120g 7200 8mb
cache. Am I making a mistake by using the 120g for storage...? Is the 8mb
cache more beneficial as a master? Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Feel
free, if you wish, to email me at: (e-mail address removed) thanks, John

Its not normally the best approach, just because the new drive is likely
rather higher performance than the current boot drive. Not always tho.

You wont be able to notice the difference in actual use.

Yes, you're going to need all that storage area for the virus emails that
are now seeing your email address.
Have fun.
