Is it possible to determine which version of SP JET is installed with MS
Access 2000 Service Release 1 (SR1)? How?

Is it possible to determine which version of SP JET is installed with
MS Access 2000 Service Release 1 (SR1)? How?

Locate the msjet40.dll file on your computer and right-click, choosing
properties. Click on the version tab - 2000 SR1 put the version at
4.0.2927.17

There have been additional Service Releases since then and also Jet 4.0 has
had Service Packs - it's up to SP8 (which would put the version at
4.0.8015.0). Even after that there was a Security Bulletin (MS04-014) that
put Jet 4.0 to 4.0.8618.0

You should ensure you are up to date with the latest.
