1 box a member of 2 domains?

I have a need to create a new file server, that should be
accessiable from Either my W2K or NT domain. My W2k and NT
4.0 domains are both seperate and not connected at this
piont. The box will be connected to both server, 1 Cat5
for W2k and 1Cat 5 for NT4.0. My question is, Is there a
way to be able to logon to either of the 2 domains on this
box. Can a box be a member of 2 domains? If so How do I go
about setting this up? I have seen in the past, at the
logon screen where you are able to use the drop down box
to specify witch domain to logon to , but I have never do
this my self.

TIA

Hi DJ-

You really can't have a machine be an active member in 2 domains
simultaneously. However, the main goal it appears to is be able to logon to
either domain from this 1 server. In that event, you should establish a
trust between the 2 domains, add this server to whichever domain is the
trusted domain and then you would have both domains available for logon in
your domain field at the logon box.

No, a machine cannot be a memeber of multiple domains.
What you have seen when you have multiple domains in the
drop down list is domains that have a trust relationship.
If you do dot have a trust, they will not even know about
each other...
