I am sending and receiving fine until I add attachments over about 100kB.
This is the error message.

Task 'pop3.totalcom.co.uk - Sending' reported error (0x8004210B) : 'The
operation timed out waiting for a response from the sending (SMTP) server. If
you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or
Internet service provider (ISP).'

I have xp pro installed and I am using office small business 2003 with
business contact manager. I use outlook for my email. All of my windows
updates are up to date.

Thanks in advance for any advice
 
Are you using a router to connect to the internet? Some routers need the MTU
setting changed.
