I can recieve emails but can not send them. I am using xp and microsoft
office and a internet key modem

What e-mail program do you use? Please ask your question in a
newsgroup devoted to that e-mail program, rather than here in a
Windows XP newsgroup. You will be much more likely to get the help you
need there.
