When RC1 reboots I get this error message. I'm not running any raid arrays
and the raid controller is disabled in the BIOS. I have an ASUS A8V Deluxe,
AMD 3700+, 1 GB, 2 HD (200 & 160), DVDRW and CDRW. I've installed the lates
VIA raid controllers but it didn't work. Any ideas as to what could be a next
step.

Hi, I just want to say I'm having the sam problem, I have a asus p5vdc-mx
motherboard running a pentium d cpu and I keep haveing the same problem after
trying to do an update when installing vista rc1 it restarts and blue screens
with the same error. and if I try a fresh installation it locks up when it
ask for language and region. I'm not sure but thinking it might be a bios
problem. not I to need help figuring this out.

Error 0x0000007B is a very well known, and common, error
advising you the system does not have the appropriate
drivers for your hard drives. If you have your drives in a
RAID configuration you need the RAID drivers for VIA chipsets.

Exactly what is your entire hardware configuration?
