0,18 technology with P4.

Hello!
I wonder whether 0,18 micron technology doesn't cause any issues with
earlier P4 CPU's (Williamette)?
Because it operates much above 1 GHz and from what I heard there was an
issue with PIII Coppermine which is also made using same 0,18 technology.
