If you have a version of PowerPoint that supports triggers, than use the
method Troy suggested, it is the best.
If you are using an older version, then you may need to create several
slides that "enlarge" each of the images. Simply hyperlink the thumbnail
image to the corresponding "Full screen" image and then hyper link the full
screen image back to the thumbnail page. I'd suggest hiding the series of
enlarged images to avoid running into them during the show accidentally.
