Zone Alarm/Messenger????

can you configure zone alarm 6 to block/disable messenger on start up, and
any other time. Am running xp pro.

You can stop MSN and Windows Messenger from starting up with Windows
from within their options menus (Tools>Options>General)

In theory that's supposed to work altho in practice never!!!
"Even shoot the messenger" didn't work!!!!

Well what problem have you had with that course of action?

Have you tried clearing the relevant entry in msconfig?

Just a bit scared, being untechnical to start messing with the registry.
