zone alarm for file to act as server

I need to find otu if it's ok for this file to act as a
server it is WFXMSRVR.MFC
I know it's from winfax
I just installed some software to allow send/receive fax
within outlook I understand the fax will be sent via modem
so why would this file want to act as a server??

If you are going to be taking inbound faxes, then your computer will be acting as the
server component. If that is not the case then deny it access as a server component.
Server basically means that your computer will be the provider of a service and
therefore needs to have the associated ports available for inbound connections. ---
