ZCast Problem

I receive message "Failed connecting to our server" when
try to log onto Internet. It is followed by message:

"You chose to end the nonresponsive program ZCast. Notify
MicroSoft about this."

The error signature is:SZ App name: /EXPLORE.EXE SZ App
Ver: 6.0.2800.1106 SZ ModName: hungapp SZ Mod ver: 0.0.0.0
Offset: 000 000 00 Error report contents: C:\DOCUME~1

Since my Win XP came with the computer, Microsoft will not
help me with the problem (for free!), although the error
clearly tells me to report it to them.

Can you help? I have been offline with this problem for 1
month and no help in sight. My computer manufacturer -- (I
just purchased it on 12-31-03.) --after some testing with
me on my computer yesterday is sending me a new modem! I
don't understand this as Modem Diagnostics says: " Device
Status: This device is working properly.

Does someone know what to do for sure? Thanks

If you are using NetZero, try reinstalling it.
