yes to all! no?

When I'm trying to copy a couple of (TXT) files from PC to my Vista laptop
over wi-fi network, I'm asked about hundred times wether I want to overwrite
old versions or not. But I can't find an option to choose "yes to all". Is
this intelligence removed, or did I miss something?

at the very bottom of the dialog box, there is a check box that says "do
this for all ??? files". check that box.

What's really good about this is that you can now say, "No," for
all files. This is great for backing up folders where new files are
added, but the old ones don't change.

Gosh, I'll have a better look next time (PC is switched off at the moment).
Anyway, I found the dialog window rather confusing with a lot of text to be
interpreted. Suppose I'll have to get used to Vista. Indeed 'Yes to all. and
'no to all' are very useful options.

actually, this is one of the better things about vista. besides the "yes -
replace" or "no - don't replace" there is also now an option to "Yes - but
keep both versions" Very handy when combining folder that may have
different files with the same name (i.e. pictures)

Yes, it's a real progress...

But, with XP, it's also possible : use LEFT SHIFT KEY with NO
Nice to know. See, you do learn something new every day.

If your fonts are too large, you my not be seeing the entire dialouge
that contains those options.

And that is so ergonomically user friendly LEFT SHIFT KEY with NO.
Brilliant.

Huh? you can't hold down 1 button while clicking with your mouse? hope
