Yahoo server no longer recognises password despite repeated input

A few days after changing over to Digiweb broadband my Outlook 2003 account
started asking me for a password prompt to connect to the Yahoo server and
then not recognising the password I put in (which had been working fine for
the last six months). I've tried deleting subkeys in the registry and
reconfiguring the e-mail account but can't work out what's goign on. Any
ideas?

Where are you trying to reference the Yahoo! server? Can you access the
Yahoo! account via web? Is it a free or paid Yahoo! account?

I can access it via the web. It is a free account. Not sure what you mean by
'Where are you trying to reference.." Do you need some details of how I've
configured Outlook?

The yahoo.com server will not allow POP or SMTP access unless you have a
paid Yahoo account. The UK Yahoo! server apparently still does. Which are
you using?

Thanks Brian, it was to do with Yahoo which had automatically unsubsribed me
from their server when I signed upt to a anew broadband connection. Just had
to resign , download over 700 old messages and then delete all except the few
that had arrived in the last week. It's what Friday afternoons are for.
Thanks for your help.
